Sat:

Morning collection from your home to join our coach for the drive to Folkestone and a midday Eurotunnel crossing to France. We continue our journey to our overnight hotel in Germany.

Sun:

We continue through Germany and enter Austria at Kufstein, arriving at our hotel in Kirchberg.

Mon:

Day at leisure in Kirchberg. Why not make the use of your guest card which gives you limited free travel on local buses and trains (limited destinations) and discount on certain chair lifts.

Tue:

Today we visit the capital of the Tyrol, Innsbruck. On arrival, a local guide will join us for an informative introduction to this beautiful city followed by free time. On our return we call at a Schnapps distillery

Wed:

Enjoy one of the most scenic drives in Austria today as we make our way along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road deep into one of Austria’s largest national parks. Passing green mountain pastures and mighty granite peaks, we make our way to the Kaiser Franz Josefs Hohe to view the Grossglockner.

Thu:

This morning we visit the Tyrol’s smallest town, Rattenberg, known as the glass town of the Tyrol. We then travel along the Alpbachtal to the pretty village of Alpbach, voted Austria’s most beautiful village.

Fri:

At leisure in Kirchberg. Why not hire a bike from the hotel and take a gentle ride along the Brixental.

Sat;

We bid farewell to our hosts in Austria and commence our homeward journey to our overnight hotel in France for bed and breakfast accommodation.

Sun;

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Calais for an afternoon Eurotunnel crossing to Folkestone. On arrival in England, we journey back to Cambridgeshire by early evening where our door-to-door service will take you home.

Hotel Zentral, Kirchberg, Austria

This 4-star hotel is situated in the centre of Kirchberg and has been a popular choice with past clients. All rooms are en suite with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, hairdryer and safe. Many rooms also have a view of the mountains. Breakfast is buffet style and here’s a choice of dinner, except on the arrival night. The wellness area features a steam room, ‘kneipp pools’ and sauna. Weather permitting a barbecue is held on one evening.
