It provides entertainment for young and old alike and attracts millions of visitors every year. The resort enjoys a mild climate and has the benefit of a traffic free promenade which leads on to the famous pier and sandy beach. The town itself has some great shops and boutiques, cafés and bistros overlooking beautiful gardens and immaculately kept streets.

Mon:

Morning collection from home to join our coach for the leisurely drive to Winchester England’s ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great. After some free time we continue to our hotel in Bournemouth, with a welcoming cup of tea or coffee on arrival.

Tue:

This morning, we will take a short drive to visit the nearby Beaulieu National Motor Museum, where over 250 vintage vehicles are exhibited in a setting that explains the story of motoring in the UK. Be sure to visit the Victorian splendour of Palace House, enjoy a
stroll through the beautiful grounds and gardens and explore the tranquil ruins of the 12th century Cistercian Beaulieu Abbey. Also included in our admission ticket is the Monorail which offers sweeping views of the park and the Secret Army Exhibition. In the afternoon, we will take a scenic drive through the New Forest National Park. Our route takes us via historic Lyndhurst,where we can spend some free time before continuing through the storybookvillage of Burley and then on to Brockenhurst.

Wed:

Our excursion today takes us along Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, pausing at the picturesque village of Lulworth and Lulworth Cove before continuing to the classic seaside town of Weymouth, with its quaint old harbour and the magnificent sweep of Weymouth Bay for the afternoon.

Day at leisure to enjoy Bournemouth.

Fri:

We depart Bournemouth after breakfast for the homeward journey, pausing over the lunchtime period before returning to Cambridgeshire by late afternoon for our door-to-door service home.

This Art Deco style 3-star hotel is situated on Bournemouth’s East Cliff overlooking the seafront, close to the zigzag path to the beach. All bedrooms have en suite facilities, freeview TV, telephone, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Amenities include The Mirabelle Restaurant, the Ventana Grand Café - a two rosette brasserie, Del Mar Lounge, Ventana Grand Bar and a lift to all floors.
