Morning collection from home to join our coach for the journey to North Wales arriving at our hotel by late afternoon.

Mon:

Our excursion today takes us through the heart of Snowdonia National Park as we make our way to the famous Italianate village of Portmeirion created by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis which includes a fabulous coastal garden and featured in the cult TV series, ‘The Prisoner’ (admission included).

Tue:

We cross the Menai Straits to the Isle of Anglesey. We visit the historic town of Beaumaris with its medieval castle dating back to the
reign of Edward I and its Victorian Pier, Gaol and Court House. We then stop for lunch at Llanfair PG, shortened from the 58 letter longest named village in Britain and on our return we pause at Conwy. Its castle and the town walls were built, on the instruction of Edward I of England, between 1283 and 1289.

Wed:

We head south today as we skirt past Llanrwst through the heart of the Conwy Valley to pretty Betws-y-Coed which lies at the
confluence of 4 stunningly beautiful forested valleys. We visit the old village of Betws-y-Coed with an opportunity to see the spectacular falls. We then head over the dramatic Llanberis Pass to Llanberis where you may wish to visit the National Slate Museum or relax on the shores of Llyn Padarn. We continue to the old town of Caernarfon, dominated by its castle before returning to Llandudno.

A free day to relax in Llandudno and perhaps take a ride on the Great Orme Tramway (cost not included).

Fri:

We bid farewell to our hotel after breakfast and commence our homeward journey to the Peterborough area, where our door-to-door service will be waiting to return you home.
