Famed for its long sandy beaches, Paignton has developed as a delightful resort. The seafront is really the heart of the resort with its colourful bustling pier and promenade.

Take a stroll along the prom or meander around the seaside shops of Torbay Road. Our holiday is based at the popular Queens Hotel located just yards from Paignton’s seafront with entertainment offered most evenings during our stay.

This tour includes our popular door-to-door collection service.

Wed:

After breakfast we travel to the Naval City of Plymouth. See the Hoe where Sir Francis Drake famously played bowls before engaging the Spanish Armada and walk around the old streets of the Barbican. We then head north into the wilds of Dartmoor to visit Morewellham Quay an historic river port that developed to support the local mines. The port had its peak in the Victorian era and is now run as a tourist attraction. We include admission to the ‘lost’ Victorian village with its many houses and cottages, blacksmiths, school and much more as well as a ride on the train to the George & Charlotte copper mine. We take in more Dartmoor scenes as we journey back to our hotel.
