Our first port of call today is Whippingham Church, which Prince Albert took an active role in redesigning. We then continue to Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s seaside retreat (admission included). On our return to the hotel, we pause for a short while in Ryde, the largest town on the island with its sandy beach and prominent esplanade.

Wed:

After breakfast our excursion today takes us to the lovely village of Godshill, thought by many to be the prettiest on the island. Its picture postcard houses and quaint tearooms make this a popular stop with our passengers. We then make our way to Haven Street for a nostalgic ride on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, passing through lovely villages and wonderful views of the downs.
