Dating back to 1163 and the most prominent fishing port in Belgium for centuries, this city combines an old medieval centre complete with small houses and cobblestone streets with a long sandy beach flanked by a promenade bustling with seafront cafes and bars & is home to the largest marina in northern Europe.
