Thriplow Daffodil Weekend started in 1969 because the church was in need of major roof repairs. Residents decided to open up their gardens and made cups of tea from their own houses. They made an amazing £206 and were so delighted they decided to do it all again the following year – and so Thriplow Daffodil Weekend was born.
As always there will be a host of new features to keep the show fresh and exciting along with all your regular features. Amongst the highlights will be admission to Monty Don in The BBC Gardeners World Live Theatre plus the Show Gardens and regular Gardeners World favourites on the BBC Gardeners World Live stage.
